RAGBRAI t-minus one day

We left Nashville at six am yesterday and drove 13 hours to Hudson, IA.

My grandmother’s very full house served as an overnight location for us as well as my Mom, nephews, sister and sister’s fiancé who are all up here for a wedding shower.

This morning we got up and rode a quick 22 miles to stretch out the legs, ate a ribeye sandwich outside of Ransall’s Grocery, and hit the road for Council Bluffs.

I am glad you all made it to the start. I hope you all can make it to the end. Good luck and have fun. Remember it is not a race. You know Nate there is SO MUCH TO SEE in IOWA. I will bet you that one corn field look just like the next one. Don’t drink to much of that barley water it make your head hurt. I will type to you tomorrow. One more thing, I went 2,084 miles in 4 days of riding my bike. Can you top that on your bike.

    Dad
